Going through "The Curse of Chalion" again, (every time is a comfort & a pleasure) and the question occurred to me: On Cazaril's eventual death, which God will take him up? The Lady or the Bastard seem prime candidates, but I think the other Gods also have reason to lay claim. Is it wrong to picture a family squabble on the other side of reality?
