How do you get inspired to write?

Bobby Underwood Writers always have a small part of themselves looking from above or outside of what's going on. We see scenes in small moments. A gently flowing river, a young girl's smile before the world has spoiled it, someone struggling to redeem themselves or hold on to the best and nobler part of themselves in a world and non-substantive culture where up is down, and people are famous simply for being famous. Beauty, longing for a better time in history, the poignancy of damaged people, all of these can inspire a writer.
