I haven’t read FBAA and I won’t ever because of the whole virgin thing which is gross. Will it be okay for me to read this book without reading the others first or will I be lost plot wise?

I know that this series is technically a prequel to the FBAA series, but the plot is essentially standalone. All of the information that you need to follow the plot line is explained within this book since the characters are being properly introduced on their own without relation to the FBAA characters.
