Hi. I'm a big fan of your books, and especially enjoy the descriptions through the characters' eyes of how magic works. Is there any chance that you would release "The Basis Of Order" in its entirety? I always find it fascinating, and would love to read it through cover to cover. Also, when you write, do you do an idea, then an outline, then a draft, or just set the scene and watch what transpires? Thanks!

I don't know that "The Basis of Order" will ever be complete, at least not until I finish writing Recluce books, and that may be a long time [at least I hope so].
I tend to make notes on the background and characters, while mentally developing the overall plot arc, before beginning to write various pieces. I don't outline, not in writing, the plot.

Hello L.E :) I have read all your Fantasy books starting with the magic of recluse. I love all the characters"the are like family to me".Having said that I just can't seem to get into your Sci-fi. Maybe I just don't like Sci-fi; but it is hard for me to develop a bond with the world and characters like I can in your fantasy novels. Have you ever thought of writing a sf with the style you use for your fantasy novels?

In Isolate, there are a large number of characters and their relationships to track, which reflects real life politics. From Isolate, in chapter 99, Steffan Dekard and Avrall Ysella have lunch with Laurenz Korriah and Shaundara Keppel, and it is important to know that they on the staff of Landour representative Kharl Navione, who is on the security committee. Do you have a list of all characters that you can share?
