The saga of Recluce already largely available in audiobooks, and will be totally available over the next six months or so. Tantor has produced the books of the Imager Portfolio as they've been published, and has begun to publish the Corean Chronicles. So far, just HAZE and THE ONE-EYED MAN are the only SF titles available in audio format.

In Isolate, discovered that you may have been subtle in the choice of character names. Steffan is crown in old German and Deckard is roofer in Dutch, so Crown Protector? Avraal Ysella is "modest flower of spring" , Axel Obredur is "worker for peace" and Ingella is "Daughter of Hero". Do more of the character names have subtle meanings of importance? P.S. Compiling characters and have 101 name thru Chapter 36.

I read your work from the beginning of the Saga of Recluse but became frustrated with the seeming lack of direction that the series had after 3-4 books. I've always been interested in revisiting the series but my frustration with reading the early disorganization of related stories without an explanation makes me hesitant. What do you say to draw back in early readers of the Recluse series who abandoned it?

I have noticed that, because of the order and chaos laws/balance, there isn't great technological advancement, more like a technological pendulum throughout the Recluce series; and the most "advanced" tech developed has been steam engines. Can we expect more on upcoming books? Like, internal combustion, aviation, etc.
