Sherri Rosen
Sherri Rosen asked Ausma Zehanat Khan:

Dear Ausma, I read your interview in P/W. Did writing "The Unquiet Dead" help you to deal with people doing evil things? Sherri Rosen

Ausma Zehanat Khan Hi Sherri! Thanks so much for the question and my apologies for the delay in answering, I've been traveling for a while. Hmmm, to answer. I think writing this book helped me close a chapter in my own life where I had so much exposure to such heartbreaking material, and felt powerless in the face of it. Writing the book was a personal commitment for me, and finishing it feels like I've kept a promise. But I think in the end, real justice is the only thing that gives people resolution or consolation in the face of evil acts.
