Peggi Bordelon

Is this a good read?

Brian This book could easily be half the size or less. Way too much unnecessary waffle.I understand that Tony has a style of teaching but I found it very hard to stay interested in a subject I'm very much interested in.
Lars-Christian Elvenes Just finished this one, and would say go for it.

Now, I'm a big TR fan, so I like his style of writing, which helps when the book is about 650 pages.

To everyone who's quitting after the first chapter, or 50 pages, or whatnot, you are missing out. And given that 50 pages is only a fraction of this beast, it's just plain useless to leave a rating for it at that point.

The books has given me several intereting pointers:
- More nuanced info on asset allocation
- Confirmed some of my thoughts on index funds
- Made me take a deeper look at my pension savings
- Made me take an even tougher approach to saving and investing (20% each month. Not always easy, but smart)
- Insights from some of the most sophisticated financial minds today.

Those are just a few things. Sure, you'll hear about Stronghold a few too many times, as well as the app, but you don't have to check any of those out if you don't want to. I live in Norway, so a lot of the things in this book means more investigating on my part, because we have different tax rules and other pension schemes here, but I still found it to be very useful.

If you're hesitant about heading into this brick of a book, start small and check out The elements of investing by Malkiel & Ellis (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...) . Great book

In short: Read the book. You'll learn a lot :)
Grzegorz Terrible.. on each page you read "soon I gonna reveal you the big secret" and that goes on for 650 pages. Maybe it is american style.. don't know. Also seems to be addressed to less educated crowd. If you have degree you gonna find it bit childish.
Tom Lambotte I am 140 pages into it and the content is life-changing, huge paradigm-shitfing content. For those that couldn't make it past 50 pages, try not to be like the rest of the population who never complete 90% of the books they start. This is well worth your time.
Wdmoor No. It's a painful slog.
Theresa Vargas I received the first chapter of Tony Robbin's book for free and I found it interesting and straightforward. Definitely a good book
Betsy Thomas I enjoyed this book. It is very long, but definitely life changing. I wish he had addressed a few other aspects of money - specifically how to address things like student loan debt. However, the advice is excellent and can be applied in any situation. I will be referring back to it quite a bit as time goes on.
Chris Russell It's a terrible 'read' - like going to the gym. But - it's a necessary read. Especially if you can get to the end.
Brandi Morrigan I received the first chapter for free from Smiley360. It's an ok read, but mostly common sense. Think about your choices.
Shipra Mohan I received my sampler of Tony Robbins book for free from Smiley 360. I have read all of the sampler and watched his videos, But I wasn't too impressed by it, this is just my opinion you can definitely go ahead and check out the book
Jeff Jackson I received the first chapter of Tony Robbins Money Master the Game from Smiley360. The sample of the book was interesting. Hearing Tony tell his story think deeply about yourself. His background and life story are very intriguing to say the least. Tony's insights and research come from genuinely successful people. His book compiles advice from the best and the brightest minds in the financial world. I think the result could be a compelling and truly life-changing book of financial advice. I have not read the entire book, but am considering it as a next book.
Deborah Strickler I recieved my sampler of Tony Robbins book for free from Smiley 360. And my opinions or my on. I have read all of the sampler and watched his videos. I am not interested at all in his readings at all.
