What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Sidney Williams Well, I was a newspaper reporter for a while. A few things from the crime beat could probably serve as mystery material. I guess the potential of the mundane turning to the terrifying would be where I might take things. Funeral homes used to call in late obituaries when I worked the night shift. What if I picked up the phone, and someone said: "I have an obituary to call in." Then proceeded to read my name, age, address? A warning? A prophecy? What happens next?
