My novel, FEAR HAS A NAME, actually begins with a real-life home-invasion that my wife and baby experienced years ago. My wife saw a man outside our home wearing only shorts. He walked along the side of the house and ripped the back porch door open and was coming in. My wife had the wherewithal to grab the baby and run out the front door to the neighbor's house. That was the seed of the idea that I started with to write FEAR HAS A NAME. Thanks for your question!
