What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Brent Hartinger Wow that's a really good question! In fact, my book BAREFOOT IN THE CITY OF BROKEN DREAMS is based on something that really happened to me. It wasn't until after it was over that I realized it was basically the plot of the movie SUNSET BOULEVARD, which is why the book ends up having so many nods and Easter eggs to that movie.
