Mistress of Rome (The Empress of Rome, #1):
I’m seeing conflicting order to this series. Mistress of Rome I would assume is book 1 because of publication date but I’m seeing it in several area as book 2 with Daughters of Rome as book 1. So which is first in the series?

Daughters of Rome is a prequel to Mistress of Rome, but was written second.
