I’m seeing conflicting order to this series. Mistress of Rome I would assume is book 1 because of publication date but I’m seeing it in several area as book 2 with Daughters of Rome as book 1. So which is first in the series?

Courtney Daughters of Rome is a prequel to Mistress of Rome, but was written second.

Emily Kate Quinn's website says book 1 is Daughters of Rome and book 2 is Mistress of Rome
