I don’t get the prologue. Can anyone help? I know it’s Joy’s bike, but who is the stranger and how does it fit in the storyline?

But I have to say that someone would have found a strange bike in the dead guy's car trunk eventually!! Seemed like the circle could have been closed bettter. (less)
