Why not an Inspector Chatham series?

Ward Larsen I love the Chatham character, but I could say the same about many I've created. The honest truth is that I only have enough time to do one series, and the current agreement with my publisher stipulates very precisely that those books will center around David Slaton.
I appreciate the suggestion, however--perhaps I can work Chatham and Scotland Yard into a future novel!
