Moriarty inserts the pandemic into the final chapters of the book. Does that totally break the mood for anyone else? Pretty much ruined the ending for me.
Tara I don't think the pandemic references added anything to this book. And I agree - it was likely added long after the book was finished.

Authors can write 9/10th of a book and have so much trouble nailing the ending.
I've found it more and more.....
