I had never heard of that book, but the title resonated with me. I looked it up, read about it, and my copy arrived yesterday. The good news is that I find it excellent, well-written, fascinating, comforting (in the "misery loves company" sense), and hope-inducing. The bad news is that it kept me up until 2AM last night. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I so value your thoughts and opinions, if you have read them, would you share your thoughts? This isn't a question. In my reading of Code Girls, it has struck me the weight these women carried during the war and even long after. That had to be so difficult. In my reading now, it's D-Day. Those women knew the day was coming but did not know the day. When they first received the messages that it was commencing, they were told not to speak of it even after the news broke across the nation. Can you imagine?
