Hi, I just wanted to say that you kind of changed my life. I had not read a single word of Shakespeare my whole life before, I didn’t even know the plot to any of the plays. After reading IWWV I kinda loved it and just had to try some. Now, I’m so in love with Shakespeare going into my 9th play in like 2 months and I just have you to thank for that! With that in mind I was wondering, what is your favorite play?

M.L. Rio I'm so glad to hear that! If anyone started reading the Bard because of this book, I consider that a job well done. Personally, my favorite plays change from week to week and month to month based on what's resonating with me at the moment (and what I'm sick of working on). That said, I never tire of Macbeth or Lear, which is probably clear to anyone who's read IWWV. As for the non-tragedy genres, I'm partial to Richard III, The Tempest, and (believe it or not) Two Noble Kinsmen.
