Do we have any idea about the early history / founding of Centaganda? How it ended up so (seemingly) divergent from Galactic culture? Unrelated note, but I've always really loved the place names in your books, especially the Vorkosigan saga.

Nope.
It was likely highly planned to some scientific aesthetic, and, like Athos, veered away from the founders' original visions over time. Real-world example over a similar number of centuries: the Bay Colony vs. 21st C. Boston. I doubt many of the pilgrims could have pictured it, even with 1600s European cities as a model.
Glad you like the names! They are always a challenge for me.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
(I keep bumping into the character limit!) After finishing The Hallowed Hunt, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I couldn't help but wonder how Ingrey and Ijada got along. Wencel had, at one point, offered to teach Ingrey if he'd but come visit him at his home, where he kept his library. Novel events went quite differently, of course. Is that knowledge something Ingrey and Ijada will ever find?

Lois McMaster Bujold:
I received a gift of Ivory Vikings -- it has the story of a man named Inleif, the first elected bishop of Iceland. He went to be consecrated after his election, but not knowing the ropes he went first to the Holy Roman Emperor. As part of his entourage he packed along a live polar bear as a gift, which he left with the emperor; did you know about Inleif and his bear when you added Fafa to the Hallowed Hunt?
