Savannah, like her mother, definitely has more than a few screws loose. On the other hand and to give a bit of the benefit of a doubt, she didn’t plan to be away for so long. Also, in her bent reality, she did come to view Joy as her mother.
Maybe, too, it’s an example of an abused child (who remembered every day of her, in her own words) turning out to be an abuser. Very sad. (less)
