There is a UK TV series in pre-production for Joe and Ruiz. If that were to go ahead, I might bring them back for an encore book or two. It's difficult because one of my abiding rules has been to never write the same book twice. I don't want to cover old ground or have readers say, 'Yeah, that was good, but it was a bit like the others.' I don't want to be safe. I want to be dynamic.
