What do you do when you get stuck at a particular scene, and feel that it's just not working out with the story as you wanted, but is still very much important?

Michael Robotham Rather than waste valuable writing time, I move ahead and leave that scene unfinished. Hopefully inspiration will strike in the interim and I'll work out how to 'unblock' things.

I'm just now listening to "The Secrets She Keeps" and I find Agatha's backstory as a former JW fascinating (as I was a JW most of my life and only left 13 years ago). Do you have insider knowledge of the religion? Judging by your descriptions it sounded like you were either a one-time Witness or knew someone who was.
