I'm sort of confused. I'm not totally done with the book so please don't spoil anything if you can help it, but here's my question: It says Emily Laughlin's death date is the same as Avery's birthday, right? In the first book? So now, why is there a memorial and everything, and Avery's birthday isn't even mentioned, and apparently it's her friend Max's birthday instead? i don't get it.
