I'm sort of confused. I'm not totally done with the book so please don't spoil anything if you can help it, but here's my question: It says Emily Laughlin's death date is the same as Avery's birthday, right? In the first book? So now, why is there a memorial and everything, and Avery's birthday isn't even mentioned, and apparently it's her friend Max's birthday instead? i don't get it.

roice Emily and Max have the same birthday which is a totally different date than Emily’s death date/Avery’s birth date. The memorial is on Emily/Max’s birth date. And they probably didn’t mention Avery’s birth date because it already passed. Hope that cleared it up :)
Anna hmm, I'm not too sure myself, I'd recommend re-reading it again, see if that helps it make more sense.
