There is occasional mild l…moreI would recommend 13 and up for this book, as the movie adaptation is rated PG-13, so I feel like that is a good guideline. There is occasional mild language throughout, along with one brief sex scene, but it is not explicitly described. The book centers on the subject of suffering from a serious illness, which can get intense at times.
All in all though I definitely think it depends on the reader and what they are personally comfortable with in a book! (:(less)
