Goodreads asked David Phillips:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

David Phillips Story prompts can be found on-line and they're pretty good at sparking my imagination.
I also have a notepad where I write down ideas no matter how well thought out, good or bad, and I revisit that when looking for something to write. It's good to stockpile ideas when you get them, it can come in handy. Even if you don't create something directly from your original idea, when you revisit, it can inspire you in a whole different way.
