I recently read this book and am now listening to the audio version. Something I missed is who gave Perveen the roses at the hotel? Was it Alice? Did she put the note in the flowers and have them delivered to the hotel?

However, it never specifies and Perveen makes a point of not telling Colin her room number, so it's definitely a bit unclear.(less)
