I recently read this book and am now listening to the audio version. Something I missed is who gave Perveen the roses at the hotel? Was it Alice? Did she put the note in the flowers and have them delivered to the hotel?

Kye Campbell-fox I have read this book twice too and both times I interpreted Perveen's statement that Alice had "saved" her to mean Perveen believed the flowers were anonymously from Colin and the coincidence of Alice's note protected Perveen from her father's suspicion. However, it never specifies and Perveen makes a point of not telling Colin her room number, so it's definitely a bit unclear.
