Hi Melinda- I’ve noticed that some authors place greater emphasis on secondary characters as a series progresses. I’ve read a few where those characters almost take over! As a writer, how do you find the right balance?

Melinda, I really enjoy reading your & Kendra's books. You create strong & familiar characters throughout each series. Just a general writing question from a male reader. Why do so many authors in the romance genre keep repeating their fears, negative thoughts and/or perceived (or not) failures? As a audio book listener, I end up skipping forward 20 seconds or more at a time to get to the answer/point/etc.

Hello Melinda, I am reading through all of your books and have reached the Rogue River series. Are these in regular book format or audio/kindle only? Is this the same for Widow's Island series? I noticed that Gone to Her Grave is the second book in the series, however, I cannot locate what the first book title is. Am I missing something? Thanks, Jaci
