Melinda, I really enjoy reading your & Kendra's books. You create strong & familiar characters throughout each series. Just a general writing question from a male reader. Why do so many authors in the romance genre keep repeating their fears, negative thoughts and/or perceived (or not) failures? As a audio book listener, I end up skipping forward 20 seconds or more at a time to get to the answer/point/etc.

Melinda Leigh Every writer has a different style and voice. Many readers desire deeper, more emotional narrative. Others prefer a just-the-facts approach. The key is finding authors whose voices resonate with you.
