Eric does utilize spells that protect him during the day. They're the same spells as at night, mostly. Physical attacks can be neutralized in several ways, whether it be via deflection spells, inertia manipulation, or even directly opposing the forces with magical energy. Each of these has its uses, as well as weaknesses.

Trivia question this time! Eric has approached magic from a programming perspective several times. Things like if/then conditionals, parameters, etc. He also likes to actually access his PC's functions. Which coding languages is he familiar with, or has he worked with before?
