Is this a book from the original writer whose last Hamish book is from 2018, or from an continuation writer?

Beaton did die over 2 years ago but she worked closely with R.W. Green to continue her series. Apparently, he worked with her on her last few books (both Agatha Raisin and Hamish Macbeth) when she couldn't type for long periods of time anymore. They would discuss characters, plot lines, and murders. Not sure if he's going to keep writing her books after the books they released together are published.
