I absolutely inhaled "Revenge Cake", I am little devastated that you didn't start writing back in the 90's so that I could have giant back catalogue to look forward to (I am a binger who had very little self control :) ) Can you recommend you favourite novels or what you reading now that has you pacing up and down gesticulating wildly at how good it is? (which what i did with revenge cake).

Skyler Mason Aww I'm so glad Revenge Cake was that kind of a read for you! As an avid reader myself, I know how rare it is to find that special book that seems like it was written just for you :)

Sherry Thomas is the biggest influence on my work. I am OBSESSED with her. If you read her stories, you will see the similarities to Revenge Cake in terms of structure and angst level (although she's a much more skilled writer!)

My absolute favorite of hers is Ravishing the Heiress. It's the best romance novel ever written imo and if you liked the angst and turmoil in Revenge Cake, you will LOVE this book. Believe me when I say it's agony to from start to finish, and I mean that in the best way possible. I sob every single time I read it.

Others of hers that I love include Private Arrangements, My Beautiful Enemy, and The Luckiest Lady in London. She's such a gorgeous writer and her characters are so real.
