Aww I'm so glad Revenge Cake was that kind of a read for you! As an avid reader myself, I know how rare it is to find that special book that seems like it was written just for you :)
Sherry Thomas is the biggest influence on my work. I am OBSESSED with her. If you read her stories, you will see the similarities to Revenge Cake in terms of structure and angst level (although she's a much more skilled writer!)
My absolute favorite of hers is Ravishing the Heiress. It's the best romance novel ever written imo and if you liked the angst and turmoil in Revenge Cake, you will LOVE this book. Believe me when I say it's agony to from start to finish, and I mean that in the best way possible. I sob every single time I read it.
Others of hers that I love include Private Arrangements, My Beautiful Enemy, and The Luckiest Lady in London. She's such a gorgeous writer and her characters are so real.

Right now I'm releasing the books a year apart because that's as fast as I can write. I'm still a new author so it takes me a long time to get the story where it needs to be, and I need a lot of help from extra eyes. If my speed improves then I will release the books as soon as they come. Ideally, I'd love it if I could release one every six months.
I have toyed with ideas for different characters in the series, including Dean and Keira. The reason I wanted Armaan and Brenna to be last in the series is that they both need to grow a lot emotionally before they meet again, and I also want the tables to be turned a bit and Armaan to be a successful business man and Brenna a little down on her luck. Both Armaan and Brenna are in Lauren's book--Brenna only a little, but Armaan is in a few scenes and so you will get a little update on where they are in their lives. I also plan to give them some kind of interaction in Dean's book. Please keep in mind that all of this is tentative though I haven't even gotten my edits back yet on Lauren's story, so things could change.

Aww thank you so much Sarah!! :) Yes, I am currently writing book 2 in the series, which is about Lauren (Logan's twin sister). It's a sugar daddy romance and the hero is a famous singer-songwriter. I'm absolutely loving it so far, and I think you will too. My current plan is for book 3 to be about Keira (I know, I know lol), book 4 will be about Dean, and book 5 will finish the series with Armaan and Brenna.
