I spent a large part of my formative years being an aspiring writer, and I still am really! My main piece of advice would be don't put off writing until it's the right time. There's never a right time. If you get an idea, just start writing. You can worry about plotting and world-building later. A story is nothing without an idea, so get that down first. The rest will follow.
