It's an obvious one, but it would have to be Middle Earth. After a bracing walk across the hills, I'd take a break in the Prancing Pony and enjoy a spot of people-watching. Maybe there would be an enigmatic pipe-smoker in the corner...

I spent a large part of my formative years being an aspiring writer, and I still am really! My main piece of advice would be don't put off writing until it's the right time. There's never a right time. If you get an idea, just start writing. You can worry about plotting and world-building later. A story is nothing without an idea, so get that down first. The rest will follow.

I've got an idea for a graphic novel script that I'm looking to develop, so working on that at present.

There wasn't one particular spark of an idea that I can pinpoint for this story. I think there's quite a bit of me in it in various ways, (though thankfully not the sinister stuff!) I've always liked the idea of things working across different times too, so it was a combination of a few ideas and experiences really.
