Not because I am uncomfortable with the subject matter, but because there is sex and profanity, and I would feel as their teacher I shouldn't be reading that to them.

I understand Laura's point about students finding that stuff on their own, but I as the teacher, to cover myself, wouldn't want to be the one to put that as a lesson in my classroom.(less)
