Where do you get inspiration for stories and how do you come up with characters in storylines?

That's always a good question, Jodi, and the hardest to answer! Inspirations, plots, and characters start as seeds in my brain, harvested from everything I experience. They either emerge as buds to slowly develop or pop into full bloom. I just have to sit still long enough to let them grow.
