What inspired you to write The House That Didn't End? :)

Em Seaver I found a short story-- what's now the first chapter of the book-- in some old drafts. I ended up serializing the story for a Thirty Days of Posting challenge on my blog! I got such positive feedback on it that I figured it would be a great way to test the waters with indie publishing!
