In truth, there were some…moreI was afraid to read this book, and it stayed on my shelf for a year because I heard that the abuse of animals was terrible. In truth, there were some circumstances where some animals died but nothing horrific, and in life, it is what happens when people don't understand nature. I read this book and was overjoyed by how many respected the animals, and the real problem was with the abuse of people. It was so well written, not graphic at all, and did not linger on the abuse of the animals. I highly recommend this book and now will order the book she wrote before this one.(less)
