Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

C.L. Brown About 3 years ago, I was in a pretty bad auto accident. I literally spent that 3 year span having major surgeries. The down time got me started reading again and I fell in love with Steve Mchugh's Hellequin series. Not long after, I discovered Shayne Silvers. These were my gateway drugs into the urban fantasy genre.

These and other series led to me thing, "How awesome would it be to have this magical universe that is as violent and diverse as the myths that inspired it?" Digging deeper into the genre I found other novels that had more obscure creatures or gods. This led to me doing some independent research, then boom. The Realm Killer Universe was born.
