Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

V.P. Nightshade I started outlining and writing The Choice in 1995 - that's why the setting starts in 1995. Sometimes life gets in the way of finishing a creative project. I just finally decided that finishing this project was going to take priority over the little things in my life! I get ideas from life itself - the people around me, the things that happen in my day-to-day life - the way my mind works is that everything can be turned into a story.
