This one really bugs me. I choose to interpret it like he sent back all findings he made, but since this isn't actually mentioned he might have casually forgot to include humanity's first contact with intelligent alien life making him the worst scientist in human history.

I also wanted to know this. I was a bit frustrated with the lack of information on what Grace was writing into his Beetle data. He actually doesn't mention anywhere whether he's even made note of Rocky at all (he references something along the lines of 'oh and I met an alien... I should make notes on him before I forget' but it's never said whether he actually DOES that. A little frustrating.
