Nenia Campbell Hi! The plot you described kind of sounds like Morgan Hawke's Victorious Star, which definitely had alien espionage and desk sex. But Victorious is also pretty hardcore BDSM porn so I'm not sure if that was the case in your book? I'd recommend it if you can tolerate dub-con though! It's one of my faves.
