I'm sorry but why couldn't her other friends have changed fro the better? Why did Sam only have to struggle? Is it because Sam really could change for the better? If we look back at the beginning of the book (ie. the first day), Lindsey her friend, was the leader. She was the first one who was mean to Juliet. She was the one to moslty cause all that blood blood and hate on Juliet and call her"Psyco".
