What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lillian Moats If you finish a piece and are really happy with it, don’t leave it up to publishers to give it the thumbs up or thumbs down. The worst thing is to put it away in a drawer, never to see it come to fruition. While you’re waiting to hear from publishers or if you never do, find some way of making your piece into a finished product, even if it’s a hand crafted one-of-a kind. Sometimes they can be uniquely treasured.
