Elysian Fields asked this question about Bacchanal:
Can someone tell me if there is animal abuse/harm or ill will? Being that the main character communicates with animals I just want to be sure, (one can never be too cautious). Please no details if there are just how much or where to skip. Thanks.

No ill will, as she does display a great deal of concern for the animals' welfare and doesn't want to work with the animals at the carnival until she can figure out this issue. Based on what I've read so far, harm to other humans (including children) is described in much more disturbing terms.(less)
