I preordered your next three books from Barnes and Noble, back in the winter/spring. I keep getting notices that they are being pushed back? Is the problem with B&N or the publisher? I just got a pushback on Hard Time, for Oct. Are you okay?

I've had several reports about problems in the US - however, everything is fine in the UK and if you want to order your books from my website, you'll get them on time. I have to say, approach the link with caution. I have form in this area. I once directed some extremely enthusiastic readers to a surgical truss site. No one is quite sure what happened but, as you can imagine, no one has ever let me forget that.

I love the St Mary's series and there's been a certain question on my mind for a while now. I suspect it has been asked before, but here goes: how did you come up with Clive Ronan's surname? Was the similarity to the word ronin deliberate?
