Claudia asked:

Did anyone notice a minor inconsistency: There are few references to the Emlen boys being class of 1987, and age-wise it checks out with their being 51 in 2019. But, then there are passages about reunions happening in 1990 and 1995, which would suggest a grad year of 1985, not 1987. Did I miss something or is it editor/author error?

Jessi Oh, one more that I noticed! When Daisy was telling Diana how she got in to doing cooking lessons and teaching her college roommates, one of them is quoted as saying, “Daisy, you’re a genius!” But she hadn’t yet met Hal so he hadn’t “renamed” her to “Daisy” yet. Her roommate should have called her “Diana” since she went by her given name until meeting Hal.
Joanne I noticed lots of editing errors too! Although with the class reunions, I believe it was said that Emlen offered them annually, with each year's graduating class getting a tent or area.
Karen I found one, too. On page 11, Diana says she is going into 10th grade, but on page 407, she tells Daisy that it was the summer after her sophomore year. Feels like editing errors, right?
Rick You are correct - also that in 1990, only 3 years out of high school, Hank was in Law School - another inconsistency.
Amy Buermann Waldron I am so glad this isn't just me! Daisy spends the night in New Hampshire and then is magically in Baltimore by 6 am. When Daisy sees the picture of Diana with her husband (towards the end of the book) she acts like she has never seen him despite telling Diana earlier that she knew him-because he was their caretaker. And there are two characters in the book named Julia (A girl at Beatrice's school and Daisy's Sister-in-Law.) I find so many of her books to be this sloppy. How can an author of this caliber not have better editors??
Dana lots of editing problems with time. Daisy was married in 2001, at 20, but there is a reference being around in the 70s which would have been hard had she been born in '81.
Emily There is a litany of stupid errors in this book. Many inconsistencies (as you’ve noted) and many just plain wrong.

Her last one (I’m referring to Mrs. Everything) was riddled with errors. Really sloppy.
Nancy Yes I caught this too and it drove me crazy during that whole chapter. I assume it's an editing error.
Jennifer Yes! I had to go back and double check and the references to their graduation years are both 1985 and 1987
Erin Another thing too, towards the end it's mentioned that Brad committed suicide in the fall. Didn't it happen in March, when the book opens on Daisy's story?

Kathy One of the reasons I disliked her last book so much was the awful editing.
Nancy West I noticed that too, especially at the 1990 reunion. First of all I couldn't understand why they'd have a 3-year reunion, but second, as others have said, Hal was in law school and one classmate was already married....three years out of high school??
Jenn When Daisy goes to NYC to meet Diana.... it says she comes up from the subway and feels the spring air. Then a few pages later she is talking about how it's fall.
Colette The BIGGEST blunder the editors made was letting all that nonsense in about Kavannaugh...letting the book become political at the end just ruined it for me. It was so unnecessary. I'm probably done with Weiner books from now on.
Margie Fenton At the reunion the band played "She Loves You" for the class of 1960, but the song didn't actually come out until 1964.
Tori This question was answered in a paragraph explaining that it was a reunion for any Emlen graduate. Remember that he talks to the old man. (Clearly not in his graduating class.)
Rachel yes! There are a number of inconsistencies that drove me nuts even though overall I enjoyed the book very much. Seems like editing oversights.
Kelly Yes! I’ve noticed a lot of mistakes that should have been caught by the editors in her latest books!!
Maggie Grace Minor? It's chalk full of them. The $18 appetizers in the 1980s, the fancy tuna on the Cape? The language (saying "gender" instead of "sex" in the 80's just didn't happen) that reads 2021 rather than 1989. It's all slightly off.
