What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ruth Kyser READ! Read books like you want to write; read books that tell you about the craft of writing; just READ. While you're reading, study the way the book is structured. How does the author move the story line along, and do the characters sound real? And then write. Write the kind of story you enjoy reading. If you don't love your story, no one else will either. And never give up. If it's something you enjoy -- even if no one else ever reads it -- don't give up.
