Kalen Delaney
Kalen Delaney asked Lois McMaster Bujold:

I just finished The Assassins of Thasalon and it wasn't enough. But thank you. It was over too quickly and I couldn't figure out what Bujold to read next, so I just started rereading it. A question did come up while reading the reference to the petty saint at the party. What is the difference between a petty saint and a (non-petty) saint?

Lois McMaster Bujold The difference is one of degree rather than kind. A petty saint can channel a little of a god, a little of the time; a regular or great saint can channel much more. Cazaril was, briefly, a very great saint indeed. The difference between a whisper and a roar, perhaps.

Ta, L.
